Agustín Cosovschi, Researcher, École française d'Athènes
The Blinken OSA Archivum as a Window to Non-Alignment, or How I Became a Scholar of the Balkans. A Discussion in Three Acts.

This talk will discuss some of Cosovschi’s findings concerning his research on Yugoslav non-alignment. Although the project started out with a focus on Socialist Yugoslavia’s relations with the Third World, its focus increasingly turned to Southeast Europe, not least because the work carried out at the Blinken OSA Archivum has opened new perspectives, and extended the analysis of non-aligned networks to other countries. The presentation will introduce three stages and key moments of the research done at the Archivum, to show how the experience of working with the collections here, combined with a particular set of external circumstances, inspired to tackle new questions.
