Katalin Dobó began her career as bibliographer, editor, and reference librarian at the Hungarian National Library. With OSA since 1995, she is responsible for the library management, collections, and services. In addition, she has also curated exhibitions (The Millenary Exhibition, Contagious Middle Ages, Dead Library), and supervised indexing and digitization projects at the archives. Recently she was in charge of implementing an open-source integrated library system, Koha, and was involved in the three-year EU-funded HOPE project. Her current professional interests cover digital librarianship, and functional integration of digital sources from the library and archival domains. Katalin holds an MA in Hungarian and Russian literature and philology (Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest), as well as an MA in Library Informatics (Kossuth University, Debrecen), and completed her postgraduate studies in Library Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.
