Cultural Heritage Days in the Building of the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives

Cultural Heritage Days

This year, Blinken OSA participated in the European Heritage Days, and its building, the Goldberger House (built in 1911) was open to the public.  As the highlight of the event, the archival repository was open to visitors as well. During the two-day event guided tours were on offer in Hungarian and in English. On the second day of the cultural heritage weekend (September 18) OSA`s exhibition Afghanistan, Graveyard of Empires: The Soviet War closed. As part of the finissage, a guided tour of the exhibition was held by András Mink historian and Zammis Schein (Sándor Mesterházy), private collector. The two-day event attracted altogether 262 visitors.
