Archival history
Dutch journalists Frank Westerman and Bart Rijs, covering the war for various newspapers in 1992-1995, came across an office in Belgrade called the "Serbian Institute for Research on War Crimes in Bosnia", which happened to have a collection of videos that were gathered by the Bosnian Serb Army when they conquered Srebrenica. Rijs and Westerman managed to obtain copies of these videos, which were later handed over to the filmmaker Jaap Verdenius in Amsterdam. He donated them to OSA in August 2010.Immediate source of acquisition or transfer
