The series includes the minutes of the Monor Meeting in 1985, which was a milestone in civil organisation after the 1956 revolution. It comprised people from all walks of life such as members of the democratic opposition, reformist economists, historians and writers and artists who were dissatisfied with the Kádár regime. The agenda of the meeting included the 1956 revoluition, ethnic Hungarians in neighboring countries, civil and human rigths, economic reforms.

The other important document is the minutes of the discussion on the 1956 revolution held in Budapest in 1986.

The two other manuscripts in the series are philosopher Mihály Vajda's essay on the crisis of Eastern European regimes and a couple of documents on the relationship between the Hungarian Catholic Episcopate and the György Bulányi-lead Bokor (Bush) base community, considered illegal at that time.
