In 1996 the Open Society Archives initiated and sponsored an oral history project which resulted in its present collection of a series of interviews with Soviet dissidents and former Communist Party functionaries, and with their relatives. The interviews were conducted in Russia in 1996-1997 by a prominent Hungarian historian, professor Miklos Kun.Scope and content
