Newspaper clippings from western and East European press, brochures and publications of RFE/RL.

Files on Soviet and western politicians, militaries, artists, journalists, writers, poets, philosophers, musicians, composers and sportsmen and sportswomen (Comaneci) containing inauguration speeches of presidents, news conferences, statements, analysis of policies, articles on visits. The most extensive files are on John Paul II, Sakharov, Gorbachev, Reagan, Clinton, Solzhenitsyn some of them with clippings starting in 1946.
